Very Nice! Can you see any flecks or spots of copper in that piece? I'm wondering if the green is malachite?

That'd be pretty nuts to find malachite in minnesota...will check and post if I do.

there is copper in St Louis County in MN. Vast amounts of copper in the upper peninsula of Wisconsin. Love the pattern of the green in the piece. A great piece. Caution...if it is in copper related family be sure to wear a dust mask when cutting or slicing it. Part of the lovely taste from the copper family is copper arsenate.

Not seeing any copper at all, but come across a couple with that pinkish melon color in them.
