Hi Everyone,
Here is an update: 20 lbs. / see picture below (for some reason I could not add it here). If you want me to take some close ups let me know.
Update: I have also uploaded some close ups.
I bought this box lot at an estate sale from a very old home in my area. I know that sometimes early collectors were actually prospectors and I was hoping to find some precious metals. I didn't. I really don't know what I have here- I had a friend look at it and she said most of it is pretty common stuff.
She did pull out some cooler pieces which I took close up pictures of. I do think that one of the pieces we thought was petrified wood is actually something else as it was really easy to scrape with my nail.
If anyone wants it I will take any reasonable offer. Reasonable as in it is worth my time to pack up and ship to you!! Just ask and I can email you all the pictures. Let me know! Thanks!!

What part of the country do you live in and how many pieces do you have.

A group photo of the boxful posted here would be sufficient, along with approximate total weight.

This is looking as a small black stone mostly found on the bank of rivers. From this view this is looking stone.
