I found these at the same park in Briarfield Alabama. There were more, didn't bring any thing with me to pry them out of the ground. Attachments:

Focus is off on your pics, but judging from the color of the rocks
and the vesicles, or air pockets, looks like you may have found a
deposit of slag glass. Nice! Pretty stuff!
