Pretty stuff, coldwater, thanks for the pics. The pieces in that second pic really looks like Dino bone, don't it. I love the brecciated stuff!

A couple people at the rock club said the same thing but as I don't know dino bone from mud I couldn't say...jasper sure comes in a lot of different shades and hues and designs....Coldwatergold

Most of the specimens does not look like dino bone, although several has the characteristics in the 2'nd pic. This should take a great polish. Good find.

Great looking material Coldwater. I too saw the dino bone similarity in the two bottom pieces in the first photo (red and yellow). In the close up you can see it's breciated. Bone has a connected cell structure as opposed to floating pieces that are independent of it's neighboring pieces. Looks like a really good material that will take a fabulous polish and should yield nice stones. Very nice find!
