Hello!
I'm looking for a supplier for interesting cabochons, cut gems, semi precious stones, geodes etc. for my jewellery hobby, hoping to expand a little.
Agate, Jasper, Jade, Turquoise, Geodes & slabs, whatever, I'm interested! If the supplies are good I will be a long time customer.
OR if you know of any reliable suppliers, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks folks!

Just checked it out, and I love their stock but I set up a smaller order to test them out and paying $20 minimum for shipping to Canada is just kind of painful,

psy Welcome to this Dirty Bunch here....ha ha ha . Fire Mt. Gems does have stones but I wouldn't describe them as interesting.....more like regular mass production material from the commercial cutting houses. Are you looking for designer cabs, good or great materials, unique shapes, etc. Your investment is better made and safer in things that you will love and increase in value as well. I specialize in designer cabs and it's based on a lifetime of graphic design, fine art and the study of composition. I start with selecting and slabbing my own material.... I also sell my excess slabs after I get first pick for my cutting. I handle other items as well. There is a vast array of qualities and price ranges....have you figured out where you want to start or be? Try not to be in to big a rush.... much better to take your time and buy wisely. Do you plan on doing any of your own cutting or design and setting work? I have a few Canadian friends that make hand made beads and have left for home from the Quartzsite, AZ, shows.... I can find out more about Canadian shopping if you like.... once they are home. Best of luck in your hobby! cheers.....mikey

How was it in Ariz. this year ...I also like Quartzite better than Tucson because of prices and cooler stuff..like free formed cabs and US artists....etc.

I would definitely love to cut and design my own cabs and beads some day, but unfortunately I don't have the space or money for that at the moment but it is one of my goals. And as for style, honestly I love both worlds, it's good to have some variety. It would be much appreciated if you asked your Canadian friends for me

I have bags of cabs that I am trying to liquidate, and over 100 costum cabs in stock that I would like to clear out too. I am also cutting and having my own material cut regularily. I will give you keystone or better pricing, and can beat fire mountain gems prices anytime with better stuff (not just cookie cutter mass produced material) I also have several local Colorado sources for excellent turqouise. Cabs, specimens and rough.
That and I broker for local faceters lately.
Anyhow my name is Kris and you can e-mail me at chaotic2creations@live.com or pm me here. Sometimes it takes me a while to get online.
