sparked my interest, found that it is Georgia Queen picture jasper. Had never heard of it, apparently can be found somewhere in middle Georgia. saw an internet site where it is being sold for about $3 a pound.

I bought some at the Mobile Show last year. Very interesting material. Cabs great!

I have some, I'll look into a dig site. The Middle Georgia Lapidary club from Macon used to dig in that area.
