Looks ok. What camera did you buy? Always looking for something that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Nice pics! I'd like the setting and lens numbers if you would. Always helps! What kind of camera too? Love and Light, Tom.

I decided on a Nikon D-40, not the D-40x.
I bought it used. You would probably expect to pay around $250-$300 used. It is only 6 megapixels but if you read the literature it is a very good chip.
I use a Nikon d-300s at work but I feel that photos are actually taken with the lens and the camera just holds the film or chip, so I don't need a $2000 camera,... but it would be nice to have a $2000 lens.
And, yes you can tell the difference when a photo is taken with an expensive lens. These photos were take with a good quality lens, not too expensive.
I shot the photo with a 18-55mm AF-S VR G lens, with on camera flash. I am saving for a 55-200mm AF-S VR G lens to cover the full range. I also have several lenses from my Nikon film cameras that work nicely in manual mode on this camera.
I took me several years to learn a few things: Megapixels are just hype after a certain point Some chips are better than others and it doesn't have to do with megapixels I don't need a $2000 camera Get something I will use and not be afraid to take out of the house The optics make or break the photo
Stay posted, I like to take photos.
I plan to re-do all my shortwave UV shots with this camera over the winter.
