I have gotten a new Genie and need to sell the old one. It is in great shape and the wheels still have a LOT of cutting in them. Both water pumps spray well and the lamp works too. I could get more for it on ebay, but would rather pass it on to someone in the group. The only apparent problem is the motor casing gets hot after running a while, but there is NO odor and it has not affected it in the years I have had it. I am asking $800.00 plus whatever shipping costs me. If you live close to Charlotte I would GLADLY meet you to pass it off in person or you could come by and test it here. I will add photos soon and hopefully there will be a happy new owner soon. I will be in and out of touch with the board for the next week so it would be the end of next week before I could complete the deal though. If there is no interest here it will go up for auction. Hey Doug, A New capacitor will fix the motor getting hot. I think there are 4 screws in the bottom of the motor stand, the cover pops off and the capacitor has either 2 or 3 wires that plug into it. easy fix.

Since Dicky is the only one to express interest the Genie will be going to him for the dealer at his show. Some folks are missing a great cabber!!

Doug, I drooled over the offer on your machine, but realized that I would have to sit down and polish about 40 stones to pay for it, and that would take nearly twenty hours! But the real deal breaker was the realization that if I had a sweet machine like that, I might actually begin to look forward to spending whole days making beautiful cabs which led to two conclusions: 1. That I would have to actually start cutting some of those rocks I've been saving for old age and better cutting skills; and 2. that I would be sitting at home cutting when I could have been out in the woods collecting. I agree that somebody missed out on a great deal, cause I checked e-bay, and used machines were starting at double your price. Thanks for giving club members priority. Dave
