Gold?

The guy labeled it like this:

Gold?
Boulder, Colorado

I thought Pyrite......is there any easy way to find out for sure? I picked at it and scratched at it, I scrubbed it with soap & an old toothbrush. It didn't come off at all.

It is scattered all around.

if a knife don't scratch it off, ain't gold. Most likely pyrite.

ohh I haven't tried a knife but I will. I tried with my finger nail and nothing came off. It sure is pretty! With the way gold is on the rise, too bad it isn't gold haha
