Finlay made it up Mt Antero again for fun , Last trip was rescue about a month ago during snow. We camped at 11,000 ft. and went to a few places I don't usually go. Thought you might like to see some of it! HA HA looking east from the camp ground back side of Mt White the bottom of the cliffs area , at the sharp top there was some legendary collecting in the 50s somebody posted a couple of weeks ago a thistle , thought I would too but look it has not bloomed yet of course 12800 ft makes a difference snow crocus trying to bloom looking down on the razorback , on the other side of it is the famous California Mine and on down is browns canyon, note road going from Left to right at crest from the top of Antero looking at Mt White , the scars are bulldozed scars where we scratch and hammer for Aquamarine from the top of Mt Antero looking east ( cant you see your self's about 2000 miles away -Ha Ha ) Elevation 14,000 just thought I would make those of you that dig in pits envious, this is a ridge back we dig on both sides- 14000ft believe it or not some people do hike up there alright , alright I know you are mad at me. Did he find anything- well note it did have a small inclusion of smoky quartz in it , about 7 karats
