Always one of those BRAINS in class who just know it all...LOL ;D I should have stated...you had to PM me for the answer. Yep...Plate Tectonics....is that not cool. I did not know that until about 4 yrs ago. Some one in class figured it out after about 4 days and given a shaded picture of the T-Rex head made of the continent cut-outs. I try to pick a focus question that they should be researching or the answer reveled as the topic is taught. This weeks question: What does a SMORE have in common with a rock? 3 days later and a day by the fire actually making "smores" they put it together as metamorphic rocks" the minerals do morph, but the composition remains the same. some kids have never had a smore (13/14 yr olds) and i had a great reflection from a student last year who stated, "When I have a family, I'm gonna dig a hole in the backyard and make smores with my kids and remember you (Mr. Davis)....too cool. Brings a tear to my eye.... Colorado
