I'm sure alot on rockhounds were out on this beautiful weekend! Went out mostly with the intent of showing my kid some erosion, wash out "canyons" some over 10' deep, on a large grade parcel. Walking along past a spot I had previously past at least twice on previous visits I spotted this! That was on the surface and weathered, some digging didn't find much more mostly small fragments On previous visits to the site I had not found a single crystal face The kid was happy.

Tracey, the photos were set at the right dpi (72), but two were over 16 inches wide. Next time, if you can find the settings in your program where you can adjust the width, somewhere around 8 inches wide works well on the board. Everybody here loves looking at photos of rocks and exploration, so don't get discouraged about posting more. Just find that control button and "tweak" them a little next time.
Looks like a fun day out playing, by the way!

Looks like you and "The Kid" have got your own little Hot Spot there, Tracey! That first crystal pic looks like just what you are looking for! Put that thing in some Iron Out and see what it looks like. Joe
