Hi All!!!
My name is MyNewHobby and have been somewhat involved with rocks for about 2 years. I love tumbling, slabbing, cabbing, and wrapping. All of these I have not done much with in the past 10-12 months as I have been on a self imposed hiatus. I am now getting back into the groove so to speak with rocks and rocks and more rocks.
As I make posts to the Rock Tumbling Hobby board, I will make sure to try and post them here as well. The more expertise for me the better.
I still have this amazing box of Savannah River Rock I got from a Dirty Rockhound and will hopefully start to slab some of it up this weekend. I will post those pictures as well.
Thanks again for being here and available for help as I know I'll need it big time.
Julie

Hey Julie, welcome back. Every hiatus deserves a hegira to end it. Hope you make it to some digs this spring.

hey Julie,
Glad you are back with us. I have enjoyed the leather I got from you greatly. Julie is a little far off from us to go on many fieldtrips!!

Thanks Rockshine and Doug!!! Rockshine .... love the hegira!!!! Hopefully I can win the lottery sometime soon and then I will be seeing all of you all the time. Yikes .... that sounded almost disturbing. ;D Glad to hear about the leather .... Since getting back on track with RTH, I am also back on track with the leather as well. I will make a post sometime soon about that if I see that you guys have a want or need for it. I cannot wait to dive into the Savannah River Rock this weekend. My kitchen is now my WF play area and the floor gets really clean while I saw. Not to mention I get a bath and shower all in one swoop. ;D Thanks for welcoming me back so warmly.
