Howdy everybody. I'm from South Texas and I work on a ranch in George West Texas where my interest in rocks was peaked when I first found a piece of pet wood. Since then, my collection has grown to include jasper, jasper agate, agates as well as many varieties of pet wood.
I look forward to meeting you all.

Howdy right back at ya, Cindy. Say I have been wondering, can a person make a racoon skin cap out of an armadillo shell? Can a rolling stone build a house out of petrified wood?

New here as well, but howdy! My grandparents lived in Abilene, but that is a world away from George West.
