Here are two more, one I finished wrapping after I took photos of the others in previous post Amethyst Jadeite Now, here is something that shocked me. I grabbed a slightly larger than a golf ball sized garnet I had, thinking it was just an ordinary garnet. I cut two slices for earwear. I decided to oval cab the larger piece - the one on the left. When I got to wheel 3 on my cab unit I noticed something odd...asterisms. Imagine my surprise by the time I got to wheel 6 for the final polish. Needless to say, I grabbed my other 'huge' garnet, inspected, saw the tale tell reflection as you see on corundum and cabbed the one on the right. I still have a large enough piece to cab two more like these. So you can imagine how large the original garnet was....LOL The one on the right has a destiny with a ring setting for my finger since it is my birthstone! The domes are approx. 10mm...high and mighty ;D and 25x18mm...Big and Purdeeee

Rebecca, they are star garnets, if I wasnt clear my error. What I meant is a rough star garnet will sometimes show the twinkle twinkle similar to what you can find on corundums. Photos not so great to show the star, but if you look close you can see the 'X's' on the garnets. The corundums are the buttons inserted into the aquamarine on the very first photo. All of the Amy items are of the S.American variety.

Oh you know, Anton, keeping the nose to the ground anyway. Thanks for asking, but do you remember when there was a time drilling holes in cabochons for jewelry was just about sacrilegious? I think that's why the "groove" wrap got the attention it did, because holes had such a "primitive" crude perception. Or was it just me? I have seen more and more jewelry lately where the cab is hung or supported by a hole drilled in it, and I really like it and all the possibilities the "whole" thing provides. I love the one light amethyst with the two silver loops! And all your work is inspiring me to try something "different", and that's a good thing. Keep up the great work, Joe

I remember when Ken taught me how to wrap some....ahhhh....I think 4 yrs ago or so. I was just plain afraid to drill into the cabs. LOL It took me quite a few miles and a few mistakes and trial runs to get to the "out of the box" concept and explore the stone. Besides, when I cut, wrap or whathaveyou....I get .70s and ,80s flashbacks....LMAO No...what really prompted me is this new 'old' aka recycled, trend back to large rings and earwear. Scoop wanted a pair of Jadeite cirlces, the pair on this post dirtyrockhounds.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=lapidary&action=display&thread=7459I just went from there experimenting and doing what the stone tells me to do to it...lol

Those are some beautiful stones. I love the way you set the rose quartz earrings. They are something I would love to wear. Love that star garnet. It's beautiful.

Hi I’m new in the kimberlite market on eBay only heard they of kimberlite and it’s rare ability to hold diamonds from within the earth about a month ago. I have since realized that I have rocks of those nature in my collection. Once jokingly placing a crystal in the palm of my girlfriends hand and laughing saying here’s a diamond it’s your best friend and I tossed it on the ground it was a nice sized one. Now I find out it’s not a joke at all and I have diamonds. Funny thing is out of all the treasure hunting I do the rock hound areas I’ve been visiting there are two kimberlite clay pipes and licks me they both contain diamonds. One being known for rock hounding in California and the other being a secret of mine in AZ is loaded with diamonds.
on eBay I have a discounted deeply the items of kimberlite and Kimberlite clay from the top of the pipe it shot out of and all with diamonds so please today the 26th of March is the last day I’ll be discounting the rare and expensive kimberlite products up to 4400%-1900- market value so if it’s not to much of a hassle to mention it to your family friends and rock hounding partners to glance at my eBay page I’m the only low price on there I’m in a crisis of needing a probate wills and trusts lawyer ASAP and can use some support by fellow hounding members and treasure hunters.
i have diamonds many many many diamonds and even huge rough uncut white diamonds heavy ones up to 347ct multiples of them I found in a pocket and I need a price on them and if any one can do so I’ll part with one for future services in advanced payment like deal I have tons of kimberlite for sale and auction I sell out faster than I can post. I need the masses to see them I have over 7-12 types all barring diamonds from black to white clear to yellow to orange to grey to milky to red to green all of the above iv found in this kimberlite clay and kimberlite rocks I’m looking to trade for a rock crusher I’d like to get one ASAP.
my eBay name : Jor-gra-diewqxq1 Email: graphicbadger92@icloud.com text number is: 928-224-5757 names John Ruiz I’m a treasure hunter and new future product inventor / new member thanks for the inviting welcome to the site hi and message me with references thoughts on my eBay page or items of interests deals and or just friendly chat thank you all
