OK, I am cutting about as much or more Diamond Hill Amethyst as I am JXR. Diamond Hill is lighter for the most part, but does have fewer flaws from the pieces I have cut. The photos are a little rough. I dusted thoses, cleaned, and still have dust. And... The 'bubble' is a tiny fleck of epoxy that I just realized was still there and removed. 7.4 cts. The cut is Annie's Barion Cushion by Dan Clayton (available on the Yahoo USFG List in the files section). There is a tiny veil in the pavilion, but other than that, the stone is really, really, clean. While I was figuring out how to cut the above, I noticed something special. This is from the same single crystal. I kept 3 faces natural, and added some faceted faces to make a little enhydo free-form that looks like a crystal. Just under 2 cts.
