In my travels I tend to pick up anything I find interesting. I have no clue of the locations where these might have been found, but if you think you have an idea of an ID please let me know. #1 #1 #1 #2 #2 #2 #2 #3 #3 #3 #4 #4 #4 And finally what I believe to be a large piece of Beryl, but it appears to have a vein of paper thin gold along parts of it.

no expert but #1 and #3 look like Smithsonite.
#2 dioptase or fibrous malachite, probably the latter.
#4 Chrysocolla, possibly turquoise.....
last one def. Beryl, associated mineral is not gold, likely a combination of mica and iron staining, very common on beryl specimens.

Those are some good guesses, Dave, and I agree with them. Am real curious what 1 & 2 are for sure, and would guess chrysoprase for #3. Pretty Rocks!

1 and 2 look a lot like prehnite.

Wow, that is a LOG of beryl! Was it found in a stream? Looks rounded off. I have a little piece of golden beryl from the Ray mine that has the same goldish rusty mica lines on it. I like Daves go at malachite on #2 As for the rest, I do not presume to even have a guess. But it's reeeeaaaaal pretty Also....Did you take these pictures by setting the rocks on a sleeping gorilla? I see some coarse looking black fur.....thats mighty ballsy man!

I thought some 1 and 2 looked like Prehnite as well.

prehnite, smithsonite- my first thoughts. could be some hemimorphite towards the bottom, also makes botyroidal blue coatings, sometimes nearly all hemi with just a sliver of host rock in the middle. def a dioptase & turq in there too. smithsonite would feel heavy, prehnite makes 2-way refraction (1 light beam makes 2 spots) hemimorphite often makes folds. nice finds

your large beryl looks much like apatite with those fractures. also seems too blue to be aqua. apatite gets vry bright. I'd wager 10:1 its apatite from the pics alone. 2nd glance, prob not dioptase above but some copper sulfide due to the mix of green & blue. dioptase is more a uniform mix colors. intense green & blue mineral coating on rocks almost guarantees copper minerals
