Hello all Really enjoy this site. I am an obsessed Rockhound nubi from Massachusetts. Not really too much in this area in my research so far. About 2 miles from me is an old dump (rock) but they caution everyone that there are asbestos minerals there. Really don't want to deal with that stuff. I am heading up to Stowe Vermont area in 3 weeks for vacation. Maybe I can find something there. Asked the Mrs. what she thought of panning for gold there NOT.
I am really glad I found this site. Am learning so much but becoming even more envious of you all.m
