Hi
My name is Kris, I live in Washington state, I'm an avid rockhound. I was out last weekend the snow is melting in the mountains, so I can get into some of my favorite areas.

Welcome to Dirty Rockhounds Kris. Let us know what your major collecting interests are, and what you're finding of course. We're all kinda crazy (about minerals) here...

Glad to have you with us Kris!! We got to collect with Basketweaver and Stu a few years back outside Seattle and it is a BEAUTIFUL area and very productive besides. Keep on picking up those pretty rocks.

Hi Doug
Thanks for the welcome, thats great you were able to come up here and do some digging, I was out last weekend following up on some green agate that I had found last year just before winter had set in, I located the vein and the first weekend in June a friend and I are going to camp on the site and spend the weekend digging

Hi Mark
I spend a lot of time searching for Ellensburg blues, but last summer while searching for blues, I came across some nice green agate and I have been following up on that, it has nice color and takes a wonderful polish
