Here is a link to a site that has taken the last 28 days of seismic activity in Yellowstone and converted it to a sound graph.. Kinda gives you a different look errr um.. sound to the old earth moving and grinding rocks... Jim www.youtube.com/watch?v=139lircZH4oCrank the sound up and close your eyes.

Seems I like to watch the earth as it blows up, shakes, cracks, and slides. Makes getting the pieces in my pocket EZer. Yellow Stone was putting on a show again this January but the swarm has calmed.. Its like Old Faithfull. Except it goes off at the first of every year, instead of every hour. Now we have the big one in Chile. I like to watch this animation every now and then from the USGS. Normaly there are about 200 + - 10% earthquakes on this map, average. Since the one in Japan just before Chile the amount has almost doubled. Kinda neat to watch the action, counter reaction in the ring of fire. Push the .........Start Animation Button.. earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsanim/world.php

I'm an earthwatcher too Your not the only one Its amazing that the amount keeps getting higher & higher. I wonder what it will look like tomorrow! Will it keep going up or go down. Looks to me like the earth is REALLY acting up and something tells me we havnt seen NOTHING yet!

Down. Down. And I really want to be right on this one........ for once. That was a pretty big swarm. On a world scale. Yellowstone has swarms in the same #s they are in a more confined area and much smaller in magnitude.
