Hi, I am new to the board but not to Magma. I found some crystals in my backyard, I live in Columbus, NC (near beginning of foothills) The crystals are a dark red color, heavy, non-magnetic. The photo's aren't the best. The last photo is not same material, thought it seems to be same color and weight, but is attracted to magnets. (There might only be one photo, unsure of system) I have found garnet and hematite in my yard as well. Hope you can help. Attachments:

Howdy and welcome to the board. Steve Barr is your next door neighbor practically there in Columbus and he can most likely ID your finds. Sad to say I am not seeing the images you tried to post...

Thanks Romare. Steve has already seen it, and isn't sure. The photo(s) are not the best, I'll get better at that.
