So after I went to Asheville last April for a mineral collecting/B&B trip my girlfriend apparently rifled through my cell phone numbers and corresponded with my rockhounding partner in crime for the better part of 2009 to commission these cufflinks: Walker Creek kyanite, Chunky Gal corundum, and Lake Douglas "diamonds" I think this might have been the coolest Christmas gift I've ever received, not because of the secrecy involved, but because my girlfriend wanted to get me an ultra-nice gift that's still very much "me." Heck, I wouldn't hide those as cufflinks. I would make pins out of them! Nice!
Love and Light, Tom.

awesome! I'm curious she would give some info on her 'fishing hole'! I live only 40 mi from Lake Douglas and just found out about these douglas diamonds. All I know so far is the Rangers will ask you if you found any nice arrowheads, then cuff you! Crystals only!
