I think they would trade with you Dick. Maybe if you could pick up that whole mtn you live next to with all that lovely topaz and aquamarine.

Now THOSE are some nice diamonds thanks to the colors. The diamond market overall is one of the biggest scams running though. Warehouses FULL of them in Israel, Switzerland and Belgium as well as all over Africa. I knew some missionaries in Africa who were putting up a new building and took their truck to the nearby river to get a load of sand. As soon as they got back to the mission the soldiers arrived to take away their sand, which had diamonds in it!! Thank the DeBeers monopoly for the HUGE prices on stones MUCH less rare than either quality rubies, sapphires, emeralds or many garnets. In MY opinion diamonds are GREAT for polishing colored stones but highly over rated otherwise.

Doug you are absolutely 100% right! if only the general public knew this..a nice sapphire is a much better e-ring than any diamond
