Ken do you sand the stone pieces while in the knife? They sure fit well.

Ken,
Ken,
You have a very nice finish on that Jade. What did you use and technique? Most Wyoming Jade I have used wants to orange peel or only takes a semi gloss polish....
Is this Jade cut flush to the bolsters?

Is this Jade cut flush to the bolsters? For some reason I find jade to orangepeel when it gets hot (not what I have read) or when I use any compounds/slurries. Now I just keep it simple and use diamond wheels and everything seems to be fine. This is contrary to the advice I have heard but it works for me. Nice knife Ken, just perfect! I'm really enjoying mine, having fun showing it off!

Di66er, I cut it and then put on knife and sanded it flush. Mike, It is cut flush to the bolsters. I use diamond up through 50.000 with a lot of water and then use Zam for polish, DRY. with a light touch. This has a super gloss finish.
