I am from Mission, BC, Canada. I have just started rock-hounding and as such I am trying to learn as much as possible. I started collecting agates, jasper, jade, quartz, pet wood pretty much anything I can get my hands on. In my area called the Fraser valley the Fraser river brings jade and jasper and agates from all points in the province. I look forward to talking with all of you.

Welcome to DRH Ryjen. It is very interesting that you are in a location that is new to the board here. It's always great when someone from a new location comes in. We are always interested in that. In time you should take some pics of your local stuff. New material always gets everyone excited. There is many here (including myself) that are into to tradeing.
There is tons of reading and lots of great pics here. There is also a lot of very knowledgable people. You should feel free to jump in and be a part. Jim
