Here are two JXR's..you have seen the bottom one george cut and this new one I procured..13cts...taken under standard flourescent light and picture has not been altered in any way..can you even call these amethyst? I thought amethyst was supossed to be purple..just wanted to show off the fabulous blue these stones are known for..just awesome..was going to try and sell the top one but now i am not sure if i want to..hmm

Wow, they look like Iolite or something other than amethyst. I have a hard time parting with rocks. I have so much sowbelly agate at my house I should get rid of, but darn, it is hard. I even bought a new scale,weighed some out and photo'd it, then changed my mind.
