Been trying out some new gem photos and setup..cut 2 new stones also green tourmaline .40cts. colorless topaz 1.20cts...didn't get bthe mirror luster on this stone..i wonder if since it was topaz and harder than other stones i didn't polish long enough or well enough..will have to work on that next time ampa tourmalines that same JXR ammy george cut for me before with new pics using the new camera and set up

Dave Groncki IS proud ;D Terrific work Jason and this answers my earlier post about whether you are now cutting. So you'll have to give me all the good info like for how long? What machine? What sorts of laps you're using? Learning on your own or taking lessons, etc...?
Given your passion for rocks and gemstones, seeing you faceting is a perfect fit! So glad it came together for you...
