Just finished it tonight, black obsidian. My son got this one for his rock collection. Its kind of a Angostura style (or as close as I could make) which the Sask Achaeological societys handbook say was being made in Saskatchewan about 7500 yrs ago. If I'm reading it correctly.

Scarlett - I think if Mister Sasrock lived 7,500 years ago, he probably would have had a great collection of rocks and minerals in his cave. That would have been because he would have had the largest arsenal of lethal weapons in his valley, and could have used them to threaten and control the rest of the population.
He'd probably use his spears to force the other folks to dig for him, thus becoming one of the earliest "mine managers" in history.
If you ever go digging with him, make sure he goes home with the best stuff. I hear he carries several spears with him at all times, just in case!

Now don't start a rumour like that the weekend before the first dig of the rock club I started happens.
I need as many diggers as possible out next weekend. Don't scare them off before I can scare them into digging faster.
