Found this at Diamond Hill Mine. Its hard to see in the picture but there is a greenish/yellow shape in the crystal. thanks Mike

Soft -- hardness ~4, then could be form of fluorite Hard -- hardness = 7, then could be form of quartz; from Diamond Hill, the quartz varieties seem to be a fair answer.

Anyone ever found any cacoxenite included quartz at Diamond Hill? Maybe that could be it?

Me and the boys went out drinkin the other nite. When I got home I tryed cacoxenaten a story about where I had been. It didn't work. Need more practice on gettin my cacoxenite straight.

Looks like a iron stained point covered in more quartz. Those are fairly rare at DH but are some of the neatest specimens form there.
