Nice find, Pat! You and SOS can look up what kindof point it is by checking out this site; sonandersonartifacts.comThe site is about Florida and southeast artifacts. I would probably place it in with the Newmans at 4-6000 yrs old. But visit the site and see what you think. Joe

no newnan there, its either a levy or a hardee. DId y`all find it in Hernando or that area north of tampa?

He found it while we were walking the firebreaks in the woods near the Wacissa river. Jefferson county.

thats a good river to dive if you get a chance, heres a preform I found in Hernando made of what looks like teh same material. Thats a very nice point he found
