Looks like a pretty ratty piece of pegmatite. I see some quartz,feldspar, and mica in there. staining could mean there's some garnet involved, probably some iron. Who knows.
Overall I would say there's not much in that piece itself, but it could be a clue that there's some ideal minerals around (kyanite, garnet, crystal quartz, tourmaline, who knows?)

yes massive float of quartz, pegmatite material you uncovered probably when discing your field dig around you may find source
