It looks like galena, this is front and back images, i found a couple pieces like this, any clues?

In a creek? Galena is pretty soft, so that might be a hmmmm... The crystal structure matches, just make sure it is not rutile. But with the white, it looks like you found this in a dry deposit, so you might have it. Is it fairly soft?

thats the odd thing, its not soft at all. maybe a piece of shattered metal? it almost has a blueish tint to it where its exposed more.

Looks like galena to me too. I used to find galena in creeks in MO. It gets all smooth and worn looking, but still quite heavy and bluegray. If you want to break it and look at the fracture, that would be pretty telling.
