The national news this morning looks like most of you have feet of snow -- BUMMER- . Hope all have no trouble and come through it well. We have your regular weather here, high today 69 degres and sun, no snow till the weekend and then only flurrys. Again best of luck. Dicky

We had 11 1/2 inches in our town, power went out some branches and trees down. One fell on a pesky neighbor's car. I feel for anyone that was caught in the cold.

Well, $3500 later, the trees are all gone. Hope the insurance will reimburse After a good checkup on the house, it amazingly had NO holes in the roof, and out of the 7 full (15 paned) glass doors/windows that the trees fell up against on the back porch, not 1 piece of glass was cracked or broken. Looks like the only thing we will need to repair is a 10ft section of gutters. See what kind of luck having a house full of Diamond Hill crystals can do for you, its the best insurance out there ;D ;D

So, you're bringing all that wood, cut up, to the dh dig next fall, right? Man, glad you got out so easy, relatively speaking. b

It was truly by the grace of God that nothing was broken. It still boggles my mind when I see the pics and then look at the house now and see no damage, just insane We even had rocks sitting on the ledge that were NOT knocked off by the trees!
