Ok before everyone gets all stirred up about this article not being rock related geology is a science and the ramification that Albert Einstein might be the last real genius in any science is pretty serious. Although I do have a friend that I would nominate as a true genius, I'm sure he knows who he is. news.aol.com/article/is-einstein-the-last-great-genius/270036

More of a top ten list/don't like the direction in science than a running out of genius article. I'm not sure how the author even came up with some on the list though. The one that really jumps out is Nelson Mandela. He is without a doubt a great and noble person who should be an example for all of us. I'm not sure what he has done though to show genius as opposed to strength of character.
Interesting list though.

Nelson Mandela and Matt Groening both, odd additions to the list, as well as that investor guy. Perhaps there is something about the investor that I don't know that makes him a genius, but I don't think I'd count Mr. Mandela or Mr. Groening as outright genius. Really good at what they do, yes, but not scientific geniuses as the article indicates.
