Found this little thingy in an erosion berm in an area that I have found beaucoup Yadkin and PeeDee triangles. This looks older. Any ideas? Thanks. Larry

Hey Larry, It's a little beat up but it looks like a Corner-Notched Kirk to me. 9-10,000 BP. And I've been wanting to ask you, Are you thinking about making it to the Knap-In in Burlington next weekend? There's going to be alot of neat stuff there, not to mention 25-30 great knappers. But as far as I know there won't be anyone displaying pottery. Maybe you'd like to? Camping is Free. ;D I'm going to get there around noon Friday and stay for the weekend. I'll be selling some knapping material and will have a display table of some of the many different types of NC Rhyolite. Joe

Thanks, Joe....and thanks for the invite to the knap-in. Due to an incidence of a surgeon sneezing or taking a short nap while cutting on my innards, I don't travel much here lately - but I do appreciate the invite and I'm sure you'll have a crowd. Larry
