Howdy, Was wondering if any one has had any quartz specimens from Diamond Hill that Fluoresce? I have a few samples of very clear crystal plates that I collected in the old amethyst pit last year, with Steve Barr and Mark Randal that fluoresce a distinct green. xtldggr

John,
Marcy Hess might know a little about this. I can't be sure, but I vaguely remember her mentioning something about it. She is very much interested in fluorescent minerals and usually tests her specimens for that characteristic. In any case, your pic is very interesting.
