This portion of our board is to be used for Indian and Civil War artifacts. Has anyone searched for Civil War and Indian War pieces? There must be some items found by our members.

never had any luck with civil war artifacts. I once lived next to the Chicamauga battlefield, but that area had been combed very thoroughly (was told people had even taken metal detectors to the old trees).
As for Indian war - I have found a lot of projectile points over the last 30 years, but not sure if they were used for war or for game. From what I have been told there is no way to really tell (??)
