Update on the "What can it be" thread of last Aug.

Well--I had an appointment with the ortho doc this aft and decided to take my Indiana geode along. Thought maybe I could get him to xray it. He thought it was very amusing and didn't quite believe me 'til I took it out of the tote it was in. His xray tech took an interest and said she would be glad to do it. The xray doesn't show an awful lot but poss a small space in the center part. Pretty cool for $10. Guess my next option is to find a place that makes stone counter tops and see if they will cut it for me.

Or you can take it to a plumber and he can cut it with his cast iron cutting chain tool. They use it to cut cast iron pipe to length.

Thanks, Ken. Did you look at the pic in the original posting? Would it cut something that big around? I have no idea what that plumbers tool looks like.
