Tina gave me some octahedrals at the Clement Mineral Museum to wirewrap for them to sell to help raise money for operating expenses. I also did some bracelets and pendants for them. She gave me some purple, blue, yellow and clear to do for them. This one is purple. ENJOY

Hey Ken....fluorite is beautiful faceted, especially the deep purple stuff.
It wouldn't be for wearing, just as a specimen for show.

No matter how many times I see them I get the most wonderfully happy feeling inside! What a generous gift to the museum, Ken!!!

Ken - Nice work! I'm sure the museum will have no trouble selling nice things like that. With the holidays coming up, I hope everyone remembers to keep the Ben E. Clement Mineral Museum on their gift list. It's a national treasure in my book, and I know they could use the help during the slow winter months.
Can't wait to get back out there and dig again sometime soon.
Many thanks go out to everyone in the club who have been generously giving donations to a fantastic museum.

I think if I ever get to take a vacation again, I would go down there. I did a flourite octanearal by wire wrapping it. I bought the octanearal from a vendor at a flea market in Richmond. This one was layered but it still held together after I tightened the silver wire again. I wear it on special occasions.
