My stone does get bluer especially after I found it at Morefield. Your ring is beautiful.

Special care should be taken to keep topaz out of direct sunlight as it will fade the stones to completely colorless over time. Some sherry topaz I collected in Utah faded completely after leaving it on a window sill for less than a year. I have heard that sunlight will enhance the color of some barite, especially th blue barite crystals from the Stoneham site in Colorado. I collected about a pound of crystals there a few years back, all still aquamarine-blue!
