Light Green Mineral

This is a rock I found in Alexander Co. The vein of small crystals running through it is light green - although hard to tell from the photo. The rest of the rock looks to me like the material found in the Little Pine mine, and it does have some weathered garnet in it. Any idea what this green mineral is?

Hi to look at it I would say Prehnite. You can find it in many locations here in North Carolina.

coming from colo it is highly possible that is a slight beryl infusion ( if complete would be aqua. looks like the quartz seams found on Mt princton and mt amtero.

Doesn't look like beryl to me, structure is wrong.

It does look like a zeolite formation, similar to some I've found here in AZ in a heulandite and calcite occurrence.
