:oA 3.92 diamond was found in Arkansas by a Wisconsin man who found a one carat diamond on Monday. It was a nice one that he is going to keep in his collection. Quite a few diamonds have been found there recently.

You are right quite a few have been in the news recently. I think I remember reading about a young girl finding one on a path leading to the park.

I believe the young man found an earlier diamond which was about a carat that he intends for his fiance's ring. That is special. Judy

It has recently been exposed that Appleton WI resident, Eric Blake (article subject), was found out to have actually "salted" the areas with diamonds he had imported from India. He did this to make a profit, as Arkansas Diamonds are worth MUCH MORE than similar diamonds from India. Bloggers on the FakeMinerals.com exposed this fraud. www.fakeminerals.com/archives/53The Superintendent of the Crater of Diamonds state park has already informed him that he is no longer welcome on premises. Please write a follow up on this story, as it soils the reputation of both mineral collecting and the great state of ARKANSAS.

Nice find by the "real' digger. The "fake" digger should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if what I read in the article is true. There are way too many problems as it is out on the market that we don't need another clown messing things up.

It is hard to believe that a person would do that, however the diamond that I saw was not like the ones from Ebay at least they seemed clearer and not the brown diamonds. But anyone that would do that should be charged with fraud and put in jail.
