New finds at crater of diamonds

Seems there were two big rocks found this weekend, a 1.3 carat and a 6+ carat, in a new trench the park service has dug.

Yes, I was there the weekend of Oct. 7th and 8th. The fields hadn't been plowed since Sept. 15th but they had scattered dirt from a trench they had dug. The people came there like flies One day there was 700. I found some jasper and agates so I didn't come home empty handed. Donna

If you want to find something there and I say I am going, go the week before and the week or two after. Has worked that way for three years straight. Donna
