me and the wife we're out in our gravel pit this weekend ,this past weekend and we found this rock we believe it's full of garnets literally loaeded but we're newbies at this so we figured we'd see what you guys had to say we appreciate it in advance is this something we keep for us to put on a shelf as a cool find?? What exactly is this and what kind of stone are these harbored in we do a lot of rock collecting and just started to actually realize that we have a lot a lot a lot of cool stones and rocks we recovered getting up in the probably couple tons, so we should probably go about identifying what we have. anyways we appreciate anything in advance since you guys know for the most part what this could be and have more knowledge than us would this be of any value and how would I go about extracting these from their current state??!?! Thanks again guys we really think this is a cool thing but from Western New York and I can't find anything west of Syracuse so to speak where these have been found!!!!!
