So I have been busy this summer collecting rocks from the Yellowstone River. I don’t live there but due to some unforeseen circumstances have been spending quite a bit of time there this summer. Here are just a fraction of what I have found. Obviously I have found lots of agates and petrified wood but some things have my stumped. I’m not great at identifying anything that isn’t obvious and have some guesses on these but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
