I’m in Roanoke and am looking for places to rock hound. Does anyone know of anywhere I can go? I’ve already been to fairy state park pit stop. I was reading about the amethyst on the ridge in Charlotte county 2.5 miles north of the courthouse. Is that still something people can dig for? Does anyone know where I could hunt for jasper?
