I've bought so many books and done so much research and just when I think I can identify a rock or mineral I discover there's a half a dozen more that fit the description. So here I am ignorant and curious with a collection of things I adore but know nothing about......any and all input or information from here on is greatly appreciated.

I feel that statement! Always been a fan and started collecting 20 years ago. Just recently found a few thibgs that I've never seen in all my travels... trying to id what i have has been more of a challenge than i expected.. once I obtained knowledge of rare geologic location it became an obsession to just be heard ... the stuff I'm finding isn't supposed to be in the state im in - strange things have occurred and never say never
