This was found in the Pyramid Peak, New Mexico can any one identify? I am new to this rockhound stuff  |

Very neat find. It appears to be a Hornfel, which is a type of metamorphic the rock. However, I am sorta new to doing actual ID's on rocks and mimerals, so look online just to be sure.
