I inherited this rock from my grandmother years ago after coveting it as a child. She told me it was a meteorite found on my grandfather's family's farm. I finally got around to investigating it further, and am sure it is not a meteorite. This is what I know: it is green, surprisingly heavy for its size (about 8" x 6" and 4" thick), and appears to be pure copper. Does anyone know what this is? Does copper appear in nature in this form? www.amazon.com/photos/share/bx2jX3iDhh0ovTfKu52FNP8yD4BB4SFXKWmSfQLH8Ag
