There's no such thing as "just a rock".

Hello, All.
It is sincerely hoped that You-All are quite well.
My name is Rick and I am from Huntingdon, Pa., which is about 30 miles south of State College and The Pennsylvania State University.
I am currently a "member" of the Rock Tumbling Hobby forum, which is conspicuously similar to this forum. The registration and log-in pages are exactly alike, and both sites appear to be operated by an outfit called "Proboards". The two forums must be directly related. I was pretty stunned when I stumbled across this forum.
This appears to be a more simplified, general rock-lover's/rock-lovers' forum than the R.T.H. forum. I'm not saying that one is better than the other, but it does seem that this forum may be more appropriate for folks like myself that are partial to ANYTHING related to rocks, lithics, and geology and don't necessarily focus on one aspect, such as rock tumbling.
This should be qute the adventure.
